Point's educational work encompasses events and workshops weaved into its public programmes for each exhibition, its collaboration with local educational institutions, and its development of dedicated educational projects for schools.

A significant chapter in Point's educational work began in 2013 in collaboration with the neighbouring Eleneio Municipal School, when Point was invited by Eleneio's Parents' Association to help address the school's issues as a multicultural school in danger of closure, located in an area undergoing a rapid process of gentrification. In 2014 this collaboration developed into an EEA-funded programme entitled "Point-Eleneio: Promoting anti-discrimination through arts education for the local community."

As part of this project, on 22-23 May 2014, Point hosted the "Contemporary Museum and Gallery Education practices: Local Communities meet Global Narratives" Conference, in collaboration with the University of Nicosia.
